because of the way COX establishes authorization.<br>I had to do it yesterday. What you have to do is associate<br>the MAC address of the PC you will be using with the modem<br>you are using via the Internet cable connection. Of course<br>you can only do it when you are running a winblows OS<br>on your PC. That way if you want to use another computer<br>with your COX modem you have to do the same thing with<br>the new PC to get its MAC address and then COX charges<br>you for multiple PCs using their Internet access every month.<br><br>Clear registers the 4G modem MAC address. When I added<br>a second modem I just told them the MAC address and I had<br>access throughout the valley. I think it would probably work<br>anywhere in the U.S. with Clear reception. The modem<br>is a full blown router that you have all sorts of control<br>over. The COX modem is controlled via the coax cable.<br><br>Of course many years ago I used to route all of my
