(or google, which will just direct you to Launchpad) to find the

Well, this error went away. I now have a problem. CUPS not working.
Can not print. I have printed since installing 9.10, but can not now.

can get printing to work<br>

Menus:<br>
System > Administration > printing calls up a gui program.
Clicking on servers gives CUPS error message box and <i>There was an
error during the CUPS operation: 'httpConnectionEncrypt failed'<br>

Help > troubleshoot tells me that the CUPS print spooler does not
appear to be running. To correct this chose System
->Administration->Services. Unfortunately there is no such menu
in 9.10<br>

It would appear that a SPY from M$ has managed to insert himself into a
management position at Ubuntu since this new version seems to be
riddled with M$ type fubars.<br>

It is much improved over 8.10. Faster in all ways. A lot less memory
leakage. Swap memory stops at under 10% as opposed to 30% in 8.10 Also got

I do have a newly discovered problem with gedit. The editor comes up but

search on the string, counting, and finally doing a search and replace and

So, anybody got any ideas. What does gedit have to do with any of the
nouns listed in the error message?

One more thing. On occasion my system fails to boot. I mean it does not
even get to any script on the black screen. I have then been able to boot
by using a live disk. Even that may take more than one try.
Has not happened in over a week, but still...
