<em><font face="Arial"><strong></strong></font>Bunny and Tom,<br><br>Thank you so very much for the kind words and welcome. I made a decision to come only several days before I arrived in Las Vegas. I was sitting with a friend in our local coffee shop in Boiling Springs, and decided over a cup of coffee. Ordered the tickets on line within a very few minutes.<br><br>Believe me...I am not normally this spontaneous. I did meet Fred at Borders books for a couple of hours Sunday afternoon. We had a lot of good conversation and a good time. I also enjoyed my visit to Scope City, and especially the astronomy presentation to the the 4th grade at Nate Mack Elementary School.<br><br>As I mentioned to Rob earlier, I will be leaving in the morning at 8:00 AM. <br><br>Best regards to all. I was surprised with the overall knowledge of astronomy within this class....for sure an advanced forth grade class.<br><br>The majority had observed through a telescope before and there were several that had previously attended a LVAS public night observing session.<br><br>The title "The Solar System and Beyond". One student was very close to the length of LY's of the Milky Way galaxy.<br><br>Several students wanted to know where their parents to take them to look at quality telescopes. I wrote Scope City on the board with the physical address. Hopeful this will remain on the board for an indefinite period, as well as<a href="http://www.lvastronomy.com/" rel="nofollow">www.lvastronomy.com</a><span class="ecxApple-converted-space"> </span><br><br>The class also looked at the LVAS website during the session.
