I was really glad that Rob mentioned the Pegasus I galaxy cluster last week. It got me to thinking. I thought that I had observed most of the galaxies but was surprised that I had not observed even the two brightest members. <BR>

I read the article by Sue French in the November S&T and became somewhat obsessed with seeing this group...this month! Other than the two brightest, all were pretty difficult with my 10-inch, but again my observing site was not good. <BR>

I had correspondence today with several serious observers and it seems that I could not find anyone that had observed this group. Tom English was aware of it, but had never observed the group, and the list goes on. Tom Lorenzin discussed only the brightest galaxies NGC-7619 and NGC-7626 in 1000+. <BR>
<BR>
I also exchanged some e-mails today with Sue French. I am impressed that she could see five members of this group with her Astro-Physics 4.1-inch Traveler. I told her that I was going to attempt next month with my 4-inch Vixen. She wants to know the results. I am somewhat dubious that I can see N-7611, 7612, and 7623 with a 4-inch refractor. It is my opinion that even NGC-7619 and NGC-7626 will be very difficult. <BR>

It is also interesting to note that Skiff and Luginbuhl observed most of this group with 8 through 12-inch scopes. I have always been surprised by the faint objects they were able to see using a 60 mm. <BR>
