He is hopeful that we will select Sirius and the companion to be the "observers challenge" for either January or February. We may get a lot of participation on this one. It would be pretty simple...can you see "The Pup". <BR> <BR>This would put anyone who observes the faint companion in an elite group of observers from the past. Very few present day observers have seen "Sirius B".<BR><BR>

I have never tried in the past 25 years due to the close orbit of "B".<BR>
