I'm posting on the list here, in an attempt to get some additional
help with this Thursday's event. I've only got two volunteers
(including myself) for 100+ people. If you are able to help out,
please let me know ASAP.

This is a Science Night, running 6:00pm to 7:30. Not really sure why
it's so short. They claim 150 attendees last year, so I would expect
this to go to 8:30pm.
Looking for a volunteer to do a 20-30 minute presentation on general astronomy.
Saturday, October 24, 2009 Death Valley ROCKS (23-25)
This is an evening of viewing for 40 kids from Bailey Middle School
in LV. This will be there second night of the 3-day, 2-night program.
We will be setting up out at the airport, on the other side of the
entrance road from where we set up this last weekend's DV trip. The
rangers who do things with the airplane in the hanger have, after 5
years, discovered that we come out there twice a year, and don't want
us blocking the hanger or the fuel depot.
I understand that we will be allowed to stay at the airport overnight
(or as late as you want) after the kids go back to the campground, to
continue whatever observing you want to do.
