Rob,
I am hopeful that the weather will break by Wednesday which will allow me to get outside.
Would you and David consider the NGC-474 group to be easier than NGC-891?
Could you both see IC 10 visually?
roger

Roger,
David Blanchette and I met at Amargosa Valley last night for an imaging and meteor observing session. We were both able to locate and image IC-10. David's image is very similar to Jim G's image. As soon as I'm able to pull the images off my computer, I'll share the with you.
Iwas also able to reimage our Dec Challenge Objects with both of my scopes.
Later,
Rob

Good morning all,
Just wanted to forward some interesting information regarding IC 10 from Sue French. I am very impressed with the details in some of these sketches from 8-inch scopes.
If the weather improves toward the end of the week I am hopeful to observe and sketch this object. Considering Jim's image and Rob's statement, I am wondering what my scope and sketch will present.
With the interest we seem to with IC 10, I really wish that we had picked this object for our December Observers Challenge.
