[Lvas] Mt Charleston

All,

I used to go to the weather station all the time but got real sick of the lights and wind. Dave told me about Sawmill Trailhead and the two times I went there, it was great. I haven't tried the higher spot yet as I'm wondering how much of the southern sky is blocked. Can you answer that, Dave? Is that place sheltered from the wind? Is it so sheltered it blocks the southern view?

This weekend, I'm still thinking about Redstone as I'm kind of wimpy when it comes to cold. There are supposed to be some winds tonight, and if it's already cold up on the mountain, any breeze is going to make it worse.
