[Lvas] Astronomy Day

This month's Red Rock star party is this Saturday, May 10.  As this 
is also Astronomy Day, LVAS will be doing some daylight observing in 
addition to the normal evening star party.

Current plan for "Astronomy Day" is to have solar telescopes on the 
veranda from 10am - 4pm.  There is one eeny-teeny sunspot on the sun 
at the moment.  I don't think it will rotate off the face by this 
Saturday, but it may disappear anyway.  So bring out those dusty ol' 
white light filters!

The Red Rock star party will have Doug Phillipson presenting Globular 
Clusters, at 7pm, with observing afterwards.
