Martin,

I had the same problem with my 10 inch LX-200 and did exactly what David
suggested and it works very well.  You have a lot of flexibility and you can
change the amount of weight and the position depending on your
configuration.  In my case I bought some lead from a hunter who made his own
shot and melted and poured a variety of weights from 1 to 5 pounds.
