Hello Marc,

I have an older 10 inch LX-200 and the extra light is very nice with the
additional aperture.  However the weight when hefting the OTA/fork assembly
on to the mount, especially when in equatorial mode, might be something for
you to consider when comparing the 8 and 10 inch scopes.  I can still do it
on on my own with counterweights and accessories that I have attached but it
is a bit to heft at about 58 pounds.
