Linda, my daughter Christina and her boyfriend ventured up the mountain
Sat night. Although the seeing wasn't that great do to stuff in the upper
atmosphere we were able to catch the Stargate and Beehive Clusters and of
course Saturn. I couldn't focus an image using my 6mm eyepiece on the SE 6
however, using the 25mm itself and with the Barlow produced some nice
images. I wonder what kind of images I would have gotten if I had, say a
34mm eyepiece? There were about 8+ vehicles and everyone seemed to enjoy
the evening. No wind but the temp was around 48 degrees. The girls got a
bit chilled so we wrapped it up about 10:15 or so. TNXSF
