Welcome Paul,
LVAS is a great club. My daughter and I have been a member for almost two
years. It is a great group of people who are always there to help you.
I spent most of my adult life in Minnesota (Twin City area and Mankato) with
the exception of one year in Australia and three years in Eastern Europe. I
know how severe a Minnesota winter is. You have to had live there to really
appreciate a Las Vegas winter.
I thought all ham radio operators had become extinct? The club I use to
belong to disbanded because of lack of interest from the young folks. It is
too much trouble for the young to learn the Morse code when you have
computers and cell phone.
I am looking forward in meeting you.
