[Lvas] valley fire weekend

Thanks for the info that is exactly what I needed.  Maybe I can bother one
of you guys to help me setup my scope when we get out there this weekend. I
am so new to this and cannot figure out the GOTO and proper alignment of my
scope. Been doing everything manually and so far have found some interesting
objects to view, especially with filters the nebulars really are amazing to
see for the first time. I found the orion nebular, well I think that’s what
it is. Are there others that are pretty easy to find from Las Vegas ? Any
recommendations for filters and different eyepieces to view the nebulars and
possibly Saturn.
