OK, I can see I haven't explained this very well. I thought it was
going to replace the current ancient communication mechanism we use now
where only two or three people can send information out to our
membership. This works just the same way, via email, with the one
exception that everyone can participate. We were going to use it to
disseminate club information, the news letter, club events, etc.
Everybody currently gets emails via the old mechanism, so why not the
new one? Are we supposed to now maintain two mailing lists? Why is
everyone so afraid of this? It's a really good thing!!! Please tell me
what your concerns are so I may address them. I've had many affirmative
comments verbally about it, but everyone seems afraid to discuss this on
the list. Thats what it's for! Get communicating, sharing, discussing.
If no one wants to communicate, why are we in a club? Geary, even you
made a comment recently that we need to get the rest of the membership
in on this. What's going on?
