Phil,
Roy Hanson may have his Color Hyper Camera by then. We will be using it with
a 22" webster dobsonian and my little 3.1", assuming it comes in time for
VoF.
I'm bringing my old 2.1 second one..
Unfortunately, I cancelled my camera order because the wait time was too
long. I expect to wait until the next Mallincam comes out, which is rumored
to have a wirelessly controlled OSD (still 28 and 56 second integration).
The wireless may be much more convenient for changing the settings of the
camera. I hope it comes soon and that the waiting list is not so long (more
than 2-3 months)...
I am taking some screen shots of m42 and other objects tonight with GSTAR2
video capture software. They are the raw frames, and they show how objects
look on my computer before any image processing (and from the backyard).
Thought you might want to see. I'll post them in the "Live Viewing Examples"
folder in picasa: http://picasaweb.google.com/mhilario2/
m.h.
